Adaptations for Canadian Marketing
Brands receiving Global Assets for their use in Canada often have requirements that must be met before they can be trafficked for use. Usually this is for one or several reasons:
-
Incorrect product shot, label or container.
-
Copy or messaging needs updating for Canadian legal & regulatory requirements.
-
Assets may require a retailer bumper or overlay.
-
Requirement of French Canadian or bilingual versions.
-
Change in voice-over or addition of French Canadian voice-over.
-
Requires new music track for Canada, or assistance in current track rights management.
-
Have one ratio (YouTube/TV 16:9) and require versions in 1:1, 4:5 or 9:16.
-
Need full spots cut to 15 or 6 second versions.
-
Or re-cut existing assets to better showcase Canadian messaging needs.
If you have ever required this type of adaptation, feel free to reach out to Wilfred Kirby. This type of production is often very straight-forward and economical, and does not require a long lead time.
